IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please check our important information. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us and discuss your concerns prior to booking.
PLEASE NOTE: Regretfully we are not unable to take bookings for XL Bullies, American Bulldog crosses or any dog of that type due to recent changes in the law.
FACILITIES
Our kennels have underfloor heating under the first three tiles, overhead heating for the winter, which gives off a low red glow. Your pet is never left in the dark.
Our pet accommodation is fully insulated ensuring it remains warm during the colder months and have fans for the warmer months to ensure your pet can keep cool,
BEDDING
We only use vet bedding and blankets as we consider it to be one of the best forms of bedding available on the market. However, if you prefer, you are more than welcome to provide your own bedding for your pet's comfort.
Please be advised we cannot allow quilts or beanbags as these will not fit into our washing machines.
In these instances we would recommend supplying their quilt cover or unwashed beanbag cover as these are usually less bulky.
MEDICAL
If your pet requires accommodation post 10 days of surgery, but has not been discharged, we will require a covering letter. This should state that they are safe to stay into our kennels or cattery and be signed by your vet. Please inform your insurance company if this is the case.
We cannot accommodate pregnant or nursing animals.
We understand that some animals are allergic to vaccinations. On rare occasions animals exhibit adverse reactions to vaccinations and therefore cannot be vaccinated. In this case, we will accept a covering letter from your vet stating that your pet cannot be vaccinated.
We do accept titre test certification as proof of protection, however there is no accurate titre test for leptospirosis therefore animals must always be vaccinated for this when entering our kennels. Unless they are exempt as above.
Additionally, this may void your insurance, as such we highly recommend you check with your pet insurer prior to booking.
PLEASE NOTE:
Kennel Cough vaccinations must given at least 28 days before your pets stay -even if it is a follow on.
Booster vaccinations falling due during your pets stay must be at least 14 days prior to your pet's stay. Alternatively you can wait until AFTER their stay.
DAY CARE
FOOD
We cannot accept your pets own food in paper bags, poo bags or plastic bags of any kind.
MEDICATION
If your pet is requiring any prescribed medicine to be administered by us during their stay, it must be in its original box with prescription label visible.
